The UI-1462LE is fitted with the extremely light-sensitive 3.1 megapixel CMOS sensor (MT9T031STC) from Aptina. The ½" large bat sensor with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels renders extremely low noise perbance with extraordinary color accuracy. Higher frame rates can be achieved for preview or auto features using binning, subsampling, or AOI modes.

The UI-1480LE is fitted with the 5 megapixel CMOS sensor (MT9P031STM/MT9P031STC). About half an inch in size, the sensor delivers a resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels as well as rolling and b start shutter features. The sensor is extraordinarily sensitive and is a real megapixel CCD replacement. The various shutter modes provide ideal beters for every application to produce sharp, low-noise images.
