第一點，手拉葫蘆在第一次使用前以及更換潤滑油之后要進行空載試驗，沒有出現(xiàn)其他問題的情況下才可正常使用。第二點，手拉葫蘆在使用完之后一定要涂抹防銹的潤滑油，并放置在干燥通風的環(huán)境當中。第三點，手拉葫蘆不得隨意拆裝，如需更換零部件應當由專業(yè)人員進行。第四點，手拉葫蘆的起重鏈輪左右軸承的滾柱，可用黃油粘附在已壓裝于起重鏈輪軸頸的軸承內(nèi)圈上，再裝入墻板的軸承外圈內(nèi)。第五點，在潤滑和使用手拉葫蘆的過程中，制動器一定要擦拭干凈，避免制動失靈等危險情況第六點，手拉葫蘆在安裝制動裝置部分時，注意棘輪齒槽與棘爪爪部嚙合良好，彈簧對棘爪的控制應靈活可靠，裝上手鏈輪后，順時針旋轉(zhuǎn)手鏈輪，就將棘輪、摩擦片壓緊在制動器座上，逆時針旋轉(zhuǎn)手鏈輪，棘輪與摩擦片間應留有空隙。
