在加工刀具運(yùn)動(dòng)時(shí),如果保持其運(yùn)動(dòng)軌跡的殘留高度不發(fā)生變化,這種算法稱之為等殘留高度法。該算法的實(shí)現(xiàn),其關(guān)鍵在于控制相鄰運(yùn)動(dòng)軌跡之間的距離,即無論曲面的曲率怎樣改變,加工后的殘高一定要保持穩(wěn)定。等殘留高度法的加工區(qū)域既可以適合垂直加工區(qū)域,也可適應(yīng)水平加工區(qū)域。在加工過程中,刀具的受力能夠保持均勻,且可在當(dāng)前刀具軌跡條件下,就很方便地計(jì)算出后續(xù)的刀具路徑。因此,這種刀具路徑的計(jì)算量相對(duì)比較小,計(jì)算速度相對(duì)較快。其缺點(diǎn)在于,當(dāng)工件曲面的參數(shù)不穩(wěn)定時(shí),有可能影響切削效率。
2.2.4.投影法
投影法不僅需要考慮刀具按照既定路徑(亦稱為導(dǎo)動(dòng)曲線)進(jìn)行曲線運(yùn)動(dòng),還需要考慮工件表面的形狀特征。因此,投影法的路徑往往是沿著導(dǎo)動(dòng)曲線在工件表面上的投影進(jìn)行的。投影法比較適應(yīng)于具有特殊曲面的加工工件。特別是在有碰撞干涉的情形下,通過投影法往往可以有效限制刀心點(diǎn)。其原因是由于在這種工件表面上,每一接觸點(diǎn)的法向方向不盡相同,這使得刀具干涉不容易發(fā)生,由此可以使刀具路徑更能得到有效控制。例如,很多復(fù)雜曲面(型腔曲面等)常常采用投影法來進(jìn)行加工,而其他算法卻并不適用。
因此,在五軸數(shù)控加工過程中,應(yīng)根據(jù)加工表面的復(fù)雜程度和形狀特征,合理選擇最佳的刀具軌跡算法,得到最佳的刀觸點(diǎn)序列,才能更好地回避刀具與工件的干涉,從而得到光滑無干涉刀具路徑。
