SIDOOR ATD410W machine tool door drive
The SIDOOR ATD410W machine tool door drive can be used to operate horizontal sliding doors. The drive system has been specifically designed for use in a very wide range of machine tools. The communication-capable ATD410W controller offers complete flexibility for integration with a machine tool via the USS protocol (universal serial interface protocol).

The SIDOOR ATD410W machine tool door drive is an inbligent door control system that enables protective doors on machine tools to be opened and closed at adjustable speeds and accelerations.
The maintenance-free, variable speed drive unit comprises a DC motor with non-self-locking gearing.
Various motors are available for selection, they have to be ordered separaby, see "Geared motors".

Operation of the door drive does not require limit switches. The door b and the "OPEN"/"CLOSE" bs are determined automatically.
The current operating states are indicated by a 7?segment display directly in the SIDOOR ATD410W machine tool door drive. They can also be displayed externally using the Software Kit or Service Tool, see "Additional units". The associated function block can be used for configuration and beter assignment purposes, see "Programming".
Forces are transferred via a toothed belt, which passes over a deflector unit and can be fitted with two door clutch holders. The accessories are not included in the scope of supply, see "Accessories".
This enables handling of both one-sided and centrally opening doors.

Push the door into the "CLOSED" b.

Open the device cover

Plug in the motor connector
-
Connect NT40 switch mode power supply to 230 V AC mains supply

Press and hold the learn run button
-
Connect the NT40 switch mode power supply output to the b of the SIDOOR ATD410W machine tool door drive
-
The learn run starts automatically and the learn run button can be released.
-
On completion of the learn run, the door is in the "CLOSED" b and the 7-segment display indicates "u".
-
The door can now be moved via the "OPEN" and "CLOSE" buttons with the default profile.
The SIDOOR ATD410W machine tool door drive is configured in STEP 7 or in the TIA Portal with the function block provided.

The Software Kit is available as an additional unit (see "Additional units") and allows quick and easy updating of the firmware using the Siemens HCS12 Firmware Loader.
User-friendly beter setting and oscilloscope function is carried out via the SIDOOR User Software (part of the Software Kit).
All door beters of the SIDOOR ATD410W machine tool door drive can be assigned via the PROFIDrive profile with the function block provided.
