聚對苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT）是通用的工程塑料。
1 PBT的工藝特性
PBT具有明顯的熔點(diǎn)，熔點(diǎn)為225~235℃，是結(jié)晶型材料，結(jié)晶度可達(dá)40%。
PBT熔體的粘度受溫度的影響不如剪切應(yīng)力那么大，因此，在注塑中，注射壓力對PBT熔體流動(dòng)性影響是明顯。
PBT在熔融狀態(tài)下流動(dòng)性好，粘度低，僅次于尼龍，在成型易發(fā)生“流延”現(xiàn)象。
PBT成型制品各向異性。PBT在高溫下遇水易降解。

Selection of screw injection molding machine. The following points should be considered. 1 the material consumption of the product should be controlled at 30% ~ 80% of the rated injection quantity of the injection molding machine. It is not suitable to produce small products with large injection molding machine. The three-stage progressive screw should be used, the ratio of length to diameter is 15 ~ 20, and the compression ratio is 2.5 ~ 3.0. Self-locking nozzle shall be used with a heating and temperature control device. When molding flame-retardant PBT, the relevant parts of injection molding machine should be treated with anticorrosion. 3 The thickness of the product and the die design 1 product should not be too thick, PBT is very sensitive to the gap, therefore, the product's right angle and other transition place should adopt the ARC connection. (2) the shrinkage of PBT is relatively large, ranging from 1.7% to 2.3% . 3 the mold needs to set the vent hole or the vent slot. 4. The Gate should be large. The temperature control device should be set in the mould. Mold temperature can not exceed 100 °C. Flame Retardant Grade PBT molding, mold surface to be chrome-plated, in order to corrosion.
